<p>Fluidity, I think your number of community service hours are awesome and all the rest you do! I hope they get impressed reading your resume!! In my opinion what you do around the community is as important as your grades.</p>
<p>I just called UCF and they said that they have been reviewing my app since the 9th.</p>

<p>I just got this e-mail from admission after asking them if my d should send any more info to them:
“Yes, she is welcome to submit the updated transcript to have that added to her file in addition to the new SAT scores. Just keep in mind that it can take months for some students to hear back so she should not be alarmed if she does not hear back soon.”</p>
<p>I hope you’re right! I worked so hard on my essays, too. I wrote about the struggled of dealing with two family friends who died of cancer my sophomore and junior year, and an alcoholic mother. Then I wrote about why I wanted to attend-basically how obsessed I am with the school:)</p>
<p>I applied for Fall 2012 on August 1st and got acceptance letter October 6th.</p>
<p>i just called the admissions, since its been more than 3 weeks since they processed the highschool transcript… but now they are saying that they have <em>just received the last document they needed</em>… wth. this is really getting annoying. they are saying that it took 3 weeks to recalculate my highschool gpa? seriously? how much longer am i supposed to wait? usf spring class registration is starting next week. ugh… what do i do? just go ahead and sign up for classes or wait until ucf gives me a decision, even if there is a chance i get denied? if i wait though, classes i’m going to need are going to be taken… -____-;</p>
<p>I just called on my daughter’s behalf. She applied three weeks ago for Summer 2012. They told me that they are looking at very few for Summer and Fall 2012 because the deadline for Spring is November 1 and they are scrambling to get through Spring applications. I think it will be even longer now before hearing for Summer & Fall applications because they will almost exclusively concentrate on Spring. Unfortunately, we are all going to have to be patient. <p>"We do review them by date, but the amount of time it takes to receive a decision can vary for each student depending on his or her academic credentials. Those with higher credentials typically hear back first. "</p>
<p>I got in for summer. I heard back around a week ago. My application was complete around mid September (so it took about a month to hear back). Goodluck to everyone waiting to hear back.</p>

And I want to log on to check my status but UCF only emailed me my PID and not my password. Does anyone know if the password is some form of my birthday or something? I tried calling but they’re closed atm and i want to check nowww</p>
<p>The password is P & then your birthdate following YYMMDD. For example if my birthday is October 23 2011. I would put P111023</p>

<p>How long does it take to get a decision? I sent mine in mid September and admissions said that they sent it to my app to the review committee on Oct. 9 so when should I be hearing back?</p>
