im an incoming freshman too

Ok okay so we are both summer B then. Hey have you joined our page on Facebook?

Wow!!! Congrats Write!!! I am happy for you!!! :)

Wow congrats!!! U deserve it!!!

Congrats!!!

Wow writefkuidity happy. for u How scyour brother taking it? I am sure it will be tough. Join official class.

Thank you everyone, so much! Not just for the congrats, but for all the help along the way. You were all so wonderful, and sweet, and trying to help me keep hope, and I’m so thankful for that. I can’t even explain in words what it ment to me. Finally, something goes right in my life:)

Also, my brother is currently reapplying right now, as we speak. He’s reapplying for summer, rather then fall, and under undecided, rather then under one of their most competitive majors (engineering). Hopefully, another miracle will happen, and he’ll get in, too:)

Kyle and dude-You’re in the same term as I, and every other freshmen. Summer B:)

Once again, thank you! I’ll be that freak now who’s buying summer clothes, on clearance, in the dead of winter. For those of you still waiting- right to them! I wrote to them last night, about how I needed to be there, and my status updated. To those of you defered- keep those grades up, and you’re golden!:)

Thanks again everyone, but now it’s my turn to reassure everyone else:)

@write

Did your status just say you’ve been accepted for the summer term or did it specify term B?

Kyle- Give me two minutes, and I’ll check:)

Ah, correction! It says, ‘summer term’ not summer B term, as I stated. But we are all in summer B, because it’s the only term for freshmen:)

Okay thank you for clearing that up and congrats again

Congratulations Write!!! You have a lot to be proud of!

Thanks kyle! Maybe we’ll run into each other! Thanks for dealing with months of me being a handful, lol.

congrats write!! You deserve it!

Thanks, Baseball! It still hasn’t sunk in yet, not completly. I still feel like the same person. If anything, I feel very mellow, and calm, which makes no sense to me. I suppose it’s because now I know that I did it, and come june, I’ll be out of illinois, and heading down to florida. I really hope everyone see’s this as a sign of hope, because somehow I managed to slip in.

Those of who who were defered, once you send in your grades, also send with it a letter/email of some type, explainning why you want to be there. Elaborate on it, too. I sent my email friday night, and I got into detail about what I had been through, how I know I’m a good student, and how much I need UCF. Next thing I know, my status changed on a saturday (Still stumped. Are they really in the office over the weekends?). I really, really think my essays, and that updated email is what pulled me in. Once they see how much you all want to be there, they can’t reject you.

Best of luck to everyone, I really, really have hope for all of you!

Write~ This just shows what persistance and a heart felt email to the right party can accomplish. I am sure you will excel at UCF, just by seeing your posts every day. You are one passionate and determined individual and I would bet that it stood out in your letter. Congrats and Good Luck! UCF is an awesome school with many local job opportunities and lots to do. Go Knights!

Write - CONGRATULATIONS!! I am so happy for you! I have been following your posts and was really hoping you would have good news. Let me know if you need any info. My daughter is a senior who started summer B in 2008. She will graduate in December of '12. She has lived in the Towers (same room…she got a great one with a private bathroom) since the fall of her freshman year and lived in Nike her first summer B. She is a Health Science major and is also in a sorority.
