Alright thanks for letting me know your opinion. I hope I do get in though. Thank you.

Ohhh @ mizz, am I correct in having to apply soon if I wanted to try and attend UCF in the Spring of next year ? It seems so early yet this is when you apply right? Or does it even make sense to since it’d be so contingent about grades I haven’t even made yet O.o I’m so confused lol

Sorry, I can’t answer that. I don’t know much about transfers. You should probably ask Ari about that since she was a transfer to UCF.

(Or you can always call or email them)

I have about…enough hope to fill up a cup:/

Why do you say that fluidity

I don’t have a high ACT score like you and others. A 22 will not be at all impressive to them. I don’t even have a high GPA to make up for it, either. All I have is community service, violin/writing awards, and two essays were I basically spilled every ounce of my heart out. I don’t think I can compete with others. Heck, I’m competing against my twin brother. We’re both trying to get in…

Calm down. We should both just not worry about it and check in a week. Let’s do that

Did Ari end up transferring? Or being accepted as one? o.O

@Write, I was in your same situation except my twin bro didn’t apply. I know it’s not comforting to know that I was denied but I did apply for Fall. I really feel bad for you because it sucks to be in that situation. Just be hopeful but smart, and make sure you now your plan for if you don’t get accepted or if they take forever to decide like they did with me.

USF is a good school as well and it is similar to UCF … I think it was you that said it’s either UCF or your local community college which is fine but I just don’t want you to change your mind last minute and be screwed…just make sure to evaluate all of your options. Ohh , and its still early. They don’t stop giving out decisions until May so while your waiting you could be studying to retake the SAT and/or ACT because you never know, they could defer you for test scores and you’d have to anyway. Or if they make you wait like I did and a lot of other people I knew , you sending them in better test scores could strengthen your chances. Just putting that out there. Good luck!

Accepted to Summer 2012

GPA weighted 3.92
ACT 27
Sat 1810

Were you accepted Friday or did you find out today

did you apply for summer or fall?

how do we change our desired term to summer? I have mine in for fall but after talking with some friends @ ucf and uf they all said summers not bad

I’m pretty sure you go to undergrad admissions on your account and click reactivation form

I’m getting a new layout for the myucf site now (because of the update), but when i sign in I only get the the MyUCf Menu with no links below (so that means i can’t check my status). Anyone else experiencing this?

I experienced this I just logged out and logged back in. I believe it isn’t fully finished until 6

Ill do that, but for transcripts. Am I correct in saying that even though I called and they said they dont have my transcripts, even when i sent them sept 17, that they may have them/be in transit? Or do I need to just resend them

Resend them is best

Thank you for the advice, mayday. But honestly, I have no interest in any other schools. It’s UCF or elgin community college for me (here in Illinois). I just would like to find out, so I know what measures I need to take, such as the ACT. I am not taking it unless they ask me to-I am paying for everything. That includes my application fees, which my parents refuse to pay. Simply meaning I have no interest in applying to schools I dislike. As of now, I’m working hard on my grades. If I can someone manage to get my AP psychology grade up to a B again, I believe I have a 4.0 (or so says my counsler).
