Heartfelt Thanks To CC Parents - A Great Resource

From a longtime reader, a heartfelt & sincere thank you to:

SoozieVt, garland, wjb, sybbie 719, marite, monydad, slipper 1234 (and to dcd as well).

Each of you kindly helped someone you did not know and responded with patience and in detail to my inquiries about various aspects of certain colleges/universities. A special additional thank you to those of you and your children who also provided incites and personal assistance.

The application process can be difficult - your help and that of your
college students was invaluable.

I wish you all the best.

P.S. Also, a thank you to those parents who regularly give great advice in the many CC forums - I thank all of you as well.

I was glad to help. It sounds like your student got into her top college? Congrats!

You are most welcome, glfrdrdad. Best to you and your D, too.

Many congrats again, and glad to help you and your daughter, and she (and you) can pass it onto the next crop next year. I told my D your D's outcome and she was real happy for her. Marite, yeah, his D got into her ED school and first choice :D.

You are more than welcome, glfrdrdad. I enjoyed our exchanges. Congrats to your D!

Congratulations on your daughter's acceptance to Brown. I' just one of the villagers, so I am glad that I was able to help

Just happened on this thread...

Not sure what I did, but you're welcome anyway!!!!

As someone else once posted.. I look at this as a form of community service. And frankly I'm soaking up stuff from others as well, to help with #2 which will be coming up. No little benefit.. input about specific HS programs already influenced where we moved just recently.

You can best reciprocate by popping in occasionally and throwing in your 2 cents where you think it might be relevant, for the benefit of others going through the process.

Oh, and congrats!!! What a relief it must be to get in ED. My kid refused to commit to anyplace and didn't apply ED. More's the pity.
