sat cr-610/620 math-650/600 wr-650-720 1990 superscore
no sat 2’s because I didn’t plan well
toefl-106
gpa-4.9 unweighted
I will write activities later post just got deleted
junior rank 5/90 sophomore rank 2/90
my essay is good trust me
p.s Nigeria doesn’t have ap’s and honors. my highschool course is however quite rigorous
and I need like 35,000 worth in aid or scholarships
I’m international oh and I’m having my December sat rescored
oh I want to major in computer science
The GPA scale in the US goes from 0-4 (or 4.33) unweighted so the 4.9 isn’t right. The TOEFL is probably good enough for the places you list but subscores do matter. If any subscore was below 24 it will might a problem. Northeastern, for instance, want’s at least a 22 in each section except speaking where they want a 24. Your SAT is good but not great.
Probably your biggest negative is needing so much aid as an international student. You certainly might be able to get an agreeable offer from at least one of these schools, especially less prestigious ones like Drexel.
You will get no financial aid from UCI and UCSD. Expect to pay $55K/year. Your SAT score is too low for USC so that will be a Reach school.
umm ok thanks. well sorry our gpa in Nigeria is on a 5 point scale, and my lowest subscore on the TOEFL was 24(speaking) I do speak very well I was just nervous I guess. I technically don’t need so much aid. I’m just trying to get the largest amount I can get @Troyus
I know that. I just really liked the uc system so I applied. And USC is my dream school. I know its a reach but my SAT score is above 25th percentile so I gave it a shot. oh and the fee for UCSD is about 40k its significantly less than the other UC’s @Gumbymom
UCSD is around the same costs as all the other UC’s if you include room/ board.
See link with the $56K estimate.
