The good thing is that Princeton doesn't see a copy of your AP scores...other than that, you will benefit from being from an under-represented state...and according to your PSATs, you should become a national merit finalist. And the fact that you have a legitimate passion for band can only help--most people don't have legitimate passions like you do. Either way, it's a crapshoot...but the best of luck to you!

OMGG thanks for telling me that they don't see AP scores. The Bio one is a serious eyesore.

Sorry, I don’t usually bring threads back from the dead… but bump?

EDIT: If it means anything, my February ACT score improved from a 31 to a 32.

wait someone said Princeton doesn’t see AP scores? How is that, and does that apply to other top colleges?

^ They don’t see AP scores until after you are accepted. Then they ask you to send a formal score report. To the best of my knowledge, yes, this applies to other top colleges.

I don’t want to hurt you, but I don’t think your numbers are gonna do it. You should consider Brown or the LACs.

Sounds like you have a strong interest in music, so you should also consider Hopkins and Vanderbilt.

AP scores are on the common ap

Yeah I don’t know if I’m going to apply here.
