Help! 20 year old trying to figure college out

Hi guys, my names Keith. Im 20 years old, got a ged in begining December of 2010 when i was 19. I had a bad high school career i moved back in fourth from my parents houses and went to allot of different school ended up falling behind and got the ged. I moved out to Caliofornia to intern at a entertainment management company. I'm planning on starting school this summer, i feel so late and ashamed but it is what it is, i cant look back. I need help on figuring out schooling and where i will attend . I have completed no test act, sat or anything like that & my grades were horrific in high school. So i think the only option for me is to do community college out here however it is ridiculously expensive if your out of state and i only have so much for college and living for the next few years. I want to end up transferring to a better school but i still don't think i would be able to attend usc or ucla because of how hard it is to get into them. What are some other options, is their online schools i can do now to save my self some money & then maybe in 2 years transfer to a university? Im looking to get a degree in business communication & film, but im so confused on what even type of degree that would be. I want to be an agent or a producer. i do social media interning for companies and am slowly working my way up but school is important to me, very important. I want a degree. I know this is confusing but if you find it in your heart to help me out that would be so great, help me with a plan, something to go. To be honest, i'm completely lost.

Where are you living now? There is free academic counseling available on campus at a community college near you. If you are in LA, you may want to visit Santa Monica Community College. It is #1 in transfers to UCLA. Be sure to get advice about course selection in preparation for transferring.
