help a fail.

k so my gpa is like 1.4 or 1.5

i got like d's and c's the whole high school year maybe a few b's in there 2. all of my hs courses are applied/basic. im actually trying a little my senior year and getting A's/B's but its a little late i guess and wont affect my gpa much lol. managed to get these IT certificates in my shop class (the only class i actually worked in/enjoyed throughout high school).

a+ certified
net+ certified
security+ certified

so do i have a chance of getting into any colleges if i dont do too bad on the SAT?

i just wanna know if there are any colleges out there that dont look to much at GPAs and all that academic crap.

clearly i dont really care too much about academics lul, i just want 2 go somewhere that focuses on my major (computer networking/security) and get a college degree in the field as quickly as possible.

<3

There's always a way into college - a local community college, if nothing else. (What state are you located in?)

But you're never going to get any post-secondary degree if you "don't really care" about your academics at all. You can't just take computer classes - you have to complete a 20 to 40-unit, broad-based liberal arts curriculum to earn even an associate's degree from any accredited college.

You need to rethink your academic goals. If you want to earn an associate's or bachelor's degree, you're going to have to start caring about subjects other than computer networking, at least enough to pass them. If you can't do that, then you should just look to get a computer certificate from a community college or DeVry or something, because a degree program will be a waste of your time and money.

That's probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but it's the truth.
