Isn't there a function on the PRinceton Review that says "students who applied to these colleges ALSO applied to..."

You might try that for some of the schools already on your list, just to see which others are comparable. The fans of each college come in clusters sometimes.

Does anyone have more ideas from California or the Southwest? I thought of Chapman U near Los Angeles, which is a "national masters university."
It has the Greeks, attractive healthy students, in Orange which is quaint/cute but in range of L.A.

3/ Look on PRinceton Review and check out the list of "Masters Universities" like Chapman, all ove the country. They have undergraduate and masters level programs but not PhD. Or they offer the terminal degree in the field, so for example Chapman has the Law School and Business School and MFA in film, but those are the terminal degrees sp it stops there.

That might get you some new ideas you uhaven't thought of yet.

A National Masters University can be an interesting environment because it's a real university of mid-size, but there's decent focus on the undergrads because the grad students only go up to the masters level.

w&l definitely a reach, not a match. i'd try maybe for smu, u richmond, and college of charleston. i would tell you to look at some sec schools, but you said you wanted something smaller so never mind

If you're from somewhere other than the South, Tulane should be at least a match for you--I got in with stats similar to yours. Then again, it was the second year after Katrina and I hear it's a lot tougher now (I transferred, so wouldn't know). The girls are pretty hot, the greek life is fairly big, but the party scene in NOLA is fantastic!

JOIN THE ARMY. They will give you money for college when you get out. They will cure you of being "rich, snobby jock" for the rest of your life.

"Colgate, Bucknell, W&L, Trinity, Lafayette, Union are all schools that I think would fit."
Union? Definitely not!

How is Union any different? Beautiful campus, social life with Greek system as large component. It basically has the same kinds of students as these other schools.
