Help an International Transfer Student!

<p>Hi All,</p>

<p>I am Jehanzeb and I am studying at the International University Bremen in Germany. I am doing Electrical Engineering and Computer Science here which is a 3 year undergraduate degree modelled on the programme at RICE and CMU.</p>

<p>I want to tranfer out to some real good US university offering Engineering and I will require a substantial amount of financial aid. I have enough transfer credits. I would like you all to recommend some places where I should apply keeping in mind the following:
i) I am an international transfer students and need a lot of financial aid
ii) My first year grades are slightly above average.
iii) State Univs are out of the question </p>

<p>Some info:</p>

<p>Current GPA: 3.0 ( 1.0 being the best and 5.0 meaning fail ---European GPA)</p>

<p>SAT 1 (old): 1390 ( 740 Maths, 650 Verbal)</p>

<p>Sat 2 : Writing 640, Maths 2C 700 , Physics 740</p>

<p>TOEFL : 287/300 (CBT)</p>

<p>wow, i know a Jehanzeb who studies Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at University of Toronto in Canada, this is odd.
and he has about the same grades as yours hmmm... interesting</p>
