Did your chem teacher actually teach you guys or is it just my teacher. We have ONE day for an ENTIRE CHAPTER's lecture and then just bookwork in class until the tests. Its essentially self-study and even though i have an A im positive that im gonna struggle just to POSSIBLY get a 3 on the AP exam.

whats a good review book that has EXPLANATIONS. THe cliff notes book from what ive seen doesnt have much of explanations and i already have it so please dont recommend it. Got to go study for a frekin test tomorrow on Enthalpy and Entropy.

Ah, enthalpy and entropy...that brings back some very horrible memories, LOL. I was kind of in the same situation last year for the IB Chem test, but the book I used was really helpful, it just stated exactly what you needed to know and no extra BS.

That's basically what we're doing right now. We get one day of notes for one/two chapters and a minilab/demo. Then we get 3 days of homework problems and on the last day of those 3 days, we do a lab. Then we have a test and that's basically it. I absolutely LOVE princeton review's book. It's not very detailed but after I read it, I understand the main ideas and then the book actually makes sense.
