Help! AP COURSES!!

MY school doesnt offer any AP courses, but I want to do them as Independent Study!

What websites are good for AP studies?

Check out some old threads - here's a few:

Online AP Courses

Other online classes

haha. ap independent study, good luck and I hope you are motivated! Did you try consulting your counselor?

Independently studying for AP exams is not that uncommon, especially if you do it through one of the online course services.

Wow thanks tanman, and ya it was my counselor who wanted me to staart AP I.S. I'm really worried that I will do bad, because I haven't taken the grade 12 level of these courses...Im thinking aobut taking MACRO AND MICROECONOMICS, AND STATISTICS- because I think they require the least prerequisite preparation (what do you guys think?).

Also, Do you think I can finish all 3 by april of 2006?

Are you going to be juggling a full high school schedule along with these independent study classes? If so, then it will be pretty hard. However, if your school is giving you time during the day to work on these classes (or letting you out early), then it should be possible. Micro and Macro are normally semester classes, but I bet you could probably cover the material in less time than that. I have no background in stats, so I can't really help there other than to say that lots of people here on CC have self-studied the Stats test and done well (some even studied only from the Barrons book and passed the test)

Well ya, I am taking 5 courses in school per semester...(but I am bored enough to post here ;)), my biggest worry is that I will not be able to have time with these courses because of my extensive volunteering schedule.

But usually how long does it take to finish these courses; like on a online course?
