I have heard that Barron's books are generally harder than the real thing, but somenoe at school told me they got 780s on Barron's practice tests on the Chemistry SAT II and then a 700 on the real thing. I got a 750 or so on most of the practice tests, but really want the 800....am I screwed or is Barron's Chem also harder than real?

Barron's tends to load up on extraneous information and overprepare you, which works for some. Don't make full generalizations on test prep by just using your friend as a standard.

Take a deep breath, I bet you'll do just fine.

barrons will just give you a bunch of crap.
