HELP!!!! Can't afford to send scores to schools. what can i do?

hi. im applying to the uc's, usc, penn, Dartmouth, brown, wustl, vanderbilt, emory, bc, northwestern, michigan, and tufts.

i qualified for a fee waiver to apply to these schools but i cant afford to pay 20 dollars to send test scores to each school (10 for sat and 10 for act)

What can i do?

You can also request SAT and ACT fee waivers with probably a similar process as with school apps. Inquire on websites and/or call.

My guidance counselor reports them on our transcripts but on all the school websites, they say that it’s not considered official

Start your research here:<a href=“The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board”>The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board. It says you can get four free sends, besides your usual four free sends in the test application. However, I cannot tell whether you can sign up for it after taking a test, and it says you have to go to your high school counselor to get the required form filled out and thus thast is the person to see.

In any event, I do not think there is any way you can get 10 fee waiverrs as that is not even suggested by the link I have included.

If you were able to get application fees waived there must have been a letter or form filled out by your GC and submitted. There is a similar process to get SAT and ACT fees waived. There will be form or letter to be completed by your GC and submitted to College Board and ACT. Your best bet is to call College Board and ACT and inquire as to what you need to do in order to get the fees waived. I do believe if you qualify to have app fees waived, you will qualify to have all SAT and ACT score report fees waived also.
