<p>I am an international student from China. I will graduate from a small private high school where I spend my junior and senior year there. I am trying to finalize a list of schools to apply to, I applied to Cornell for early decision and got rejected. List below are colleges I am considering, in order by preference. </p>

GPA:3.86
ACT: 20
SAT: Verbal 510; Math 690; Writing 450
TOEFl: 76
SAT II: Chemistry 560 25%
Math I 700 80%
Math II 700 63%
Class ranking: top 5% of a small private high school with graduating class of less than 30</p>

<p>the only ones I know about are UVA, BU, and Penn State. </p>

<p>Unfortunately your SAT scores are low for these schools. You may have a shot at Penn and BU but UVA is wicked hard to get into unless youre in state. However, I’m not familiar with these school’s international policies, so that may boost your chances. Good luck though!</p>

<p>And as far as which major to apply as, go for which ever one interests you the most</p>
