Help! chances(fall 2007)

<p>looking to get into the top liberal arts colleges, good unis...</p>

SAT I around 2100
II: math IIc 800, lit. no idea, Chinese 800, Physics 750
Rank: 3/25
GPA: school doesn't rank
IB full diploma predicted grade: 40+</p>

<p>ECs: MUN (best delegate national conference), swimming, volunteer work, etc.</p>

<p>Citizen of: Canada, Hong Kong
Currently in: Shanghai, China
School: private-local(not really private some gov funding)</p>

<p>disadv: teacher recs, they aren't fluent in English
other factors: seeking aid, wants to do pre-law or pyschology
* also what do uS schools expect on sATS from an intl residing in asia since 5th grade(english as the native language student)</p>

<p>You have great chances. You're an intel. you're SAT scores would put you in the mid-50% of most top liberal arts colleges. And, don't worry about your teacher recommendations. Your teachers can write in their native language and you just translate it to English. Most colleges will accept translations provided that you send the original text. </p>

<p>Of course, there is more to getting admitted into top colleges but I would say your prospects are very good. I just hope that you have some other hooks.</p>
