So I am torn between these three excellent universities. EA is a chance to take risks so Im gonna do what I can. But there are some concerns

Yale tends to defer a great number of applicants. I also heard that Yales EA is for the favor of those who have legacies and for ordinary candidates like me applying EA might put me in a disadvantaged position. If one cannot get a clear answer at the end of the year then whats the point of applying EA after all??

The same concern for Stanford. From the information I have, Stanfords EA leans towards students with some kind of hook, either family background or athletes or legacies. Will EA actually increase the candidates possibility of getting accepted?

UChicagos essay is sooooo damn hard!!! God, it takes so much as to simply understand the essay, let alone write a winning one
still, theres one question--- if I apply for FA as an international student during the EA process, am I pushing myself to the edge??
