I signed up to the forum because neither my school or the university could help me with this credit values. I am from Argentina and planning to apply to college in the US. Im a full IB Diploma student with many courses at school. The problem is, we don't use credti values here but it is a MUST in the common app. The school said I should put a 1 in every blank meaning that yes, I do receive credits. The university says it is not a must but I must show evidence that I have had those courses.

Just in case, I'll list my IB courses:

*ENGLISH B HL
*SPANISH A: LITERATURE HL
*HISTORY HL
*MATHEMATICS SL
*BIOLOGY SL
*ART SL
*T.O.K
*C.A.S

I hope that you guys can help me get out of this one! I already have everything done but I'm still missing those values so that I can add my reccomendation letters.

I am having the same trouble, only difference is I did my A-levels and A-levels doesn’t really have Credit Values. I would like to quote the reply that Common App team sent me when I emailed them about the problem. Here it goes-

'It is up to your discretion as to how you decide to complete your application. The best resource for information may be your guidance counselor, who would be more familiar with your personal situation. You may also consider contacting your school(s) of interest directly.

Additionally, you are able to supply any additional information or comments into your application via the Additional Information section, found in the Writing section of the Common Application.’

I don’t know if this was of any help, but I thought I’d share it.
