HELP! Credit overload?

I'm a soon to be sophmore at UT-Austin, and I'm thinking of junior transfer to another school.
Anyway, at UT right now, I have 52 credits, including credit by examination.(AP scores, etc.) I have 3 credits more with some CC US history course I haven't transferred yet. Without credit by examination, I guess I have about 30 credits.
So, I have a grand total of 55 credits, AND I already have registered for 16 credits in the fall.

I was looking through Columbia's website, and they say that they will not accept over 64 credits. (I'm interested in the College, not Fu)

So does this mean I won't be able to apply? (Because I'll probably have like more than 70 credits when I finish my second year.)
OR
Does this mean that Columbia will just go through my classes, pick the ones that are relevant to Columbia's courses, but I won't be able to use more than 64 credits worth when (and if) I transfer there?

I know there are tons of other schools with credit limits, but I'm guessing most of the schools don't want more than an average of 60 credits, and I'm just using Columbia as an example.

Please, help me out! :'( I don't know if I should even cut back on my fall course schedule and make it into 13 hours, instead of 16.
