there was one bit in my essay that required 2 (…) ellipsises- however, the format came out weird, and it turned into (…) and (.) instead of (…) (…). the essay still makes sense, it may just seem a little weird D: like i dont understand punctuation or something!! This is especially bad as I’m applying FA to schools like the Ivies.

No. Trying to email in a correction like this would be futile. If your essay is strong, then it is ok.
I wouldn’t send an email. The colleges you applied to will have thousands of applications to review. I would not contact them over one small mistake. I doubt a college wouldn’t accept you because of an error in your punctuation. Admissions officers will most likely overlook this mistake if the rest of your essay is strong and mistake-free.
Oh gosh…this is why parents keep trying to get kids to stop using text type! u and i and no punctuation! It becomes so natural you don’t see the error anymore!
