help! deciding where I might fit in

Hi guys! So I have decided that I want to apply early action to a "top college" but I'm struggling to find things to dislike about any of them. (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, etc...) Help me pick one to apply to Early, and maybe throw out some ideas for regular. Thanks :)

About me:

perfect SAT, 8 APs so far w/ 5s and 4s, 3.9ish gpa, yadda yadda. So on par with these schools I guess. My extracurriculars are solid, definitely not mind blowing though. Essay tips are welcome! Considering being an Econ or Math major.

I love spending time with friends, and a relatively active social scene is important to me. I'm not extremely outgoing but far from a recluse. I want to be able to experience sports, parties, nightlife, even if they aren't on a massive scale. I'm not too concerned with the weather. I consider myself slightly right of center politically, but do not mind a left-wing atmosphere. Primarily small classes are a must. Oh, and I'm a sucker for good food, unique architecture, and cool coffee shops.

I know I'll be happy wherever I end up, but I'd love to potentially know in december. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!!

I suggest te Fiske Guide to Colleges. They give info about the social scene and quality of life.
Harvard: social 3/5 and quality of life 4/5… 97% of freshmen return
Yale: social 3/5 and quality of life 3/5… 99% returning freshmen
Princeton: social 3/5 and quality of life 3/5… 98% freshmen return
Stanford: social 4/5 and quality of life 5/5…98% freshmen return

Btw my guide is from 2010

What do you want to major in? It think your major and ECs would help with suggestions

thanks. Probably econ major, and ECs are mostly music-related. it’d be awesome have a local small band scene

I’d suggest yale and Stanford… Yale has a great music department btw
