I was accepted into BU CAS with the intent to do bio and med after undergrad.
I missed the accelerated med program deadline, so…

My other decisions were accepted into UCR (honors program) but waitlisted from UC Davis and Irvine [Californian resident] as well as Purdue

I can’t decide which of them would be the best, any advice?

Which one gave you the most money?
Do you like big schools?
Do you like big cities?
Are you good with diversity?

cost is also a pretty big factor. as a student here at BU from california myself, 50k a year is nothing to scoff at. i’m not going to lie, the weather here is so unpredictable compared to california so get ready for a change. as i type now, it is pouring and windy. i wish you the best of luck finding the right college. you’ll end up where you need to be!

just really think: where do you want to be? do you want a change? new people? new diversity? nathalia had excellent thought provokers :]

I got used to the weather quickly since I’m from Texas. I’ve had worse. But even small things like weather are things people overlook. You have to understand this is somewhere you’ll live for four years and you should really consider if the area is suitable for you. It’s not going to help if the location makes you miserable.
