<p>My daughter has been accepted by this school but it seems to be so unknown to most people that we're having a very hard time finding out any information from anyone other than the program itself. </p>

<p>Wow. New Paltz is right down the road from us and I never knew they had an engineering program, nor have I ever known anyone who went to New Paltz for engineering.</p>
<p>You prompted me to look at the SUNY New Paltz website. I see that they in fact do NOT have a School of Engineering per se, but rather a School of Science and Engineering. Within this School there is one academic department for engineering: the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, which offers a BS in EE and a BS in Computer Engineering (as well as a MS in EE). Keep your eyes open and you’ll learn something new every day!</p>
