Help - easiest SAT-II tests

Looks like D will bite the bullet and take SAT-IIs. She's definitely taking the math (her strongest subj), but no other subj jumps out as an obvious choice (ie no other particular academ strength), so I though I'd suggest she go w/ whatever was easiest.

Good strategy?

Subj tests suggestions?

Thanks.

Have her do Math II rather than MathI, the curve is much better.

US History

Thanks, I though she should take the Math II, glad to get some confirmation.

yea math 2 by far easiest.

World history is an easy one to self-study. Under no circumstances should she not take math level 2. I would advise having her look at the College Board's practice questions to see what would come easiest for her.

math 2 isnt the easiest, its just got the best curve. If you get a study guide for any subject (except for languages) they shouldnt be too hard given enough time

bio aint too hard and lit is okay if you get lucky

iic - for anyone who's good with precalc and/or trig
chem- for anyone done 2 years of chem (1 year is too little unless you really want to study for it)

phys- anyone who likes phys..

bottom line- the easiest one will be the subject you like.

US history and a science (preferably chem) are good choices. I'm a little iffy on literature but if that floats your boat (omg, i sound like by phys ed teacher), go for it.

I heard that world history was very difficult. =/

World history covers a lot of subject matter, but it doesn't go into depth. Is US history really that easy?

Lynda is right about your best subject being the one you like, for the most part. I'm pretty sure languages are tough for most people, and math level 2 is easy. Their relatively difficulties both seem to depend on their curves.

I had a friend who took AP US History and got a 3 on the AP exam and walked away with a 570 on the SAT II US History, it's not an easy test by any means.

Purchase or check out from the library the 10 Real SAT book and have her do whatever subject intrests here, whatever her highest score she should focus on that, i'd stay away from languages though.

US History is pretty easy. I took two years of "college prep" (non-AP/Honors) US History, didn't study except for the night before, and got a 760.

World History is really easy if you like history. Buy a prep book and read it for leisure! =p

"US History is pretty easy. I took two years of "college prep" (non-AP/Honors) US History, didn't study except for the night before, and got a 760."

your such a liar!! Im GOOD at history and I read the REA book twice and I got a 750

WoW4201: lying about what, sweetheart?

I didn't do any preparing for SAT IIs and got the following in October: 800 Math IIC, 770 US History, 720 Chem.

Really, it all comes down to what you excel in at school. I've always excelled in all subjects, but when you take the test, the stuff has to still be somewhat in your mind. I'm a senior, I haven't had any US History since 10th grade. Although I took Chem in 9th grade, I didn't remember much. I started taking AP Chem this year, and if I would have been able to delay testing for it several months (once we recovered everything in class), I probably would have been able to get 800.

I took the US History and World History in June. I took APUSH in May and got a 5. Without any studying, I got a 760 in US, and a 680 in World (the last time I had world history was in freshmen year, now a senior). Now I am in AP World History....lol
