I kind of forgot to send in my 2009 returns to HC via IDOC. If I am accepted come Monday, should I see if I can send in the returns directly to Holy Cross? Will my award be less than it would have been had I had met the deadlines? I did send in my CSS profile and fafsa already, so maybe all hope isn't lost yet...

whats IDOC?

From the College Board website:

Through the Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC), the College Board collects families’ federal tax returns and other documents on behalf of participating colleges and programs. The College Board will notify students selected by participating institutions when they must submit the required documents.

i still have no idea what that means and we didn’t do it and we received a package from HC. Did send CSS and fasfa.

Idoc is basically where you send your tax returns so HC receives them. So did you send anything to HC besides css and fafsa? Like a copy of your actual tax returns?

You should call the admissions office and explain the situation. You are probably not the first applicant who has forgotten some piece of paperwork.

I’ll probably do that come Monday, if I am accepted. It’s not good to become lackadaisical during the college application process, as I did :(
