idoc and tax returns?

<p>i know there are a lot of threads about the fafsa and css, but i am concerned about the idoc since i obviously missed the deadline.</p>

<p>i completed the fafsa and css profile by the deadlines for all of my schools, but i had no clue what an idoc was until a couple of days ago. also, i just realized a lot of my schools wanted a copy of my parents tax returns. my parents promised they would take care of it asap. </p>

<p>the deadlines for the idoc/tax returns vary from march 1st, march 15th, and april 15th for all of my schools.</p>

<p>is this really, really bad? or is it only the fasfa and css profile that is important?
will i be okay for financial aid?

<p>Call each of the schools and explain that your parents are working on their tax returns right now, and that you are prepared to send them as soon as that’s done. Then ask how you should proceed. Make sure your parents get their taxes done ASAP!</p>
