Help finding a safety school?

I have two safeties set already, but they're both in-state and relatively close to home (I live in Colorado, and the safeties are currently U of Northern Colorado and Colorado Mesa U). If it comes down to choosing a safety, though, I would like to have a choice that's out of state, preferably near or in a major city.

ACT: 32
GPA: about a 3.8 unweighted
EC: extensively involved in theatre and music

I don't have a major chosen yet, but I'm thinking about English or Theatre Tech. It's very important to me that a school has instrumental ensembles and a decent theatre program.

It also has to have good financial aid; my family's low income, and with my current two safeties I'm looking at a possible full ride on merit.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Go to the Financial Aid forum and look at the pinned threads at the top. Check out Alabama. I’m not sure about theater…

What about Boulder? It’s a good school in Colorado and you’re a shoo-in instate.

@MegaMetalHead‌ I’m actually putting Boulder (and CSU) with my match schools, mostly because I’m not likely to be getting a ton of aid there.

Probably will be private, as OOS schools will unlikely give you a full ride especially schools in big cities with large application poll.
I will say check out Macalester, Colorado College, Holy Cross, Trinity (CT), Trinity (TX)…etc. They are matches though, I would not call any of them safeties.
Best of luck to you.

Any of the schools in the following list have the academics of interest for you?
