I am a freshman in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. I tried the online sat and act tests online and get 1350(760+590) for sat and 35+29+26+29 for act. Interested in stem, computer science and economics, what extracurricular activities do you guys/gals recommend?
Also, which college do you recommend me to apply?

Do extracurricular that interest you. There is no one activity that is better than any other.

It is good to take school seriously and know that college will be on your horizon, but it is too early to start planning for specific colleges. You should not be thinking of any specific colleges to apply to until junior year. It is just too early. You don’t even have one full year of a GPA and your standardized tests should improve with additional classroom learning and study.

You also need to recognize that HS should be an experience in and of itself – a time of learning and growth and not just a 4 year college application prep experience.
Completely agree. Maybe I’m a little bit worrying unnecessarily. Thanks so much.
If you want UT then it IS good to be on your game and understand how rank works at your school. IMO it is NOT too early to know how that game is played.
