I'm a senior that is getting ready to submit some applications. Please be honest I will not be offended.
I'm looking at in state schools only and have a list narrowed down to what I feel I can possibly get into.
My number one school is Baylor but I would also consider University of North Texas, Stephen F Austin, and Texas Tech. I'm not sure how realistic it is for a student like me to get into any of those schools let alone Baylor.

Here is my résumé:

Senior

Top quartile of a class of 550
I've taken a rigorous schedule and taken all Ap or Pre Ap classes except a handful of oppertunities.
6 AP classes and 12 pre Ap classes.
I've averaged a B in most of them.

My GPA on a 4.0 scale is a 3.2

As far as my Ap scores in 10th grade I took Ap World History and Scored a 2.
Junior year I scored 3's on AP US history an AP English Comp.
I plan to take economics, government, and English Lit.

My SAT score was not good at all I was sick that day so I don't plan to summit it.
My ACT was a 22 ( scored in top 5% with the writing portion)
I'm planning on taking another ACT test soon and my goal is at least a 24.

As far as clubs and extracurricular's I'm again the school nearly every day 3+ hours extra.
I've done 4 years Baseball (6 days a week 2nd semester 3 hours a day)
2 years robotics ( 3-5 hours 4 days a week and if it is still going on after baseball I go there)
Fishing Club (one day a week for 2 hours, but compete in tournaments around state)

I've had several letters of recommendations from teachers if that helps at all.

I'm also a white American Male, my parents support a good income so financial aid is not a top priority.( could this hurt my application by the way?)

As far as degree, I would really like to go into computer science.
Please be honest and if there are any other in state schools I would be interested to hear about it.
