HELP HELP HELP with Loans... please help!!!!

OMGGG Please help!!!! I'm so stressed right now.

Okay, the difference between my USC estimated cost of attendance and my financial aid eligibility is roughly around $7000. I understand that I can borrow that money from a private lender. But what if they deny me? Does that mean I can't afford to study in USC? But I already paid my deposit...

Btw, I already maxed out on my Stafford loans.

One more thing, do banks and institutions like USC Credit Union, Wells Fargo, and Discover usually approve borrowers??? Any suggestions what I could do if I'm denied???

Please please please help!!!!

First look at Parent PLUS loans before private lenders. Check out USC"S website on financial aid and under loans about the Parent PLUS loans. It sounds like the chances of being turned down for a Parent PLUS loan is minimal. If we needed the $$ for my son that is where we would start first.

Agree with msheft. And if your parents are denied a PLUS (they probably won’t be, but just in case), you become eligible for an extra $5,000 Stafford unsubs. [USC Financial Aid - Loans - Federal Parent PLUS Loan for Undergraduate Students](http://www.usc.edu/admission/fa/loans/undergradplus.html)

Thank you both of you!!! About that extra $5000 Stafford unsubs, so even if my Stafford loans are maxed out, I can still get an extra $5000 from it if my parents are denied a PLUS, is that what you mean???

I just called the banks and waiting for their approval… OMG, this is worse than waiting for AP and SAT scores combined… :SSS

Yeah. Generally speaking, unless you’re filthy rich, you should typically always be able to borrow unsubsidized loans to cover the rest of your costs.
