Help! Hofstra VS. Harvard

I'm trying to decide between Hofstra and Harvard!!

Well they both start with the letter H.

I'd go with the school that has the more attract color or seal.

harvard...

The same person just posted a thread bashing people trying to make these kinds of decisions. Pay no attention.

What's the damn point of this thread? (Excuse my language) I truly despite threads such as these.

Clearly this fellow is confused and is seeking direction.

I heard Hofstra is in, like, the I-V League or something? I'd go there, I think.

Hofstra is a local university of mine. >_> I've never thought too highly of local schools because I grew up with the notion that everything I lived around was... non-Grade-A (but I still love it anyway).

Go to Harvard. If you worked hard enough to get into Harvard, why waste it on Hofstra? I'm sure there's nothing that unique about Hofstra that Harvard can't give you.

Sarcasm. Very thinly-veiled as well.

What is Hofstra? :D

^ why it's only the most prestigious (and obscure) college in the nation! ;)

Boy, did this sure go right over some people's heads!

Sungchul..you really didn't notice the OP's sarcasm?

It sure did. Coincidentally, I make fun of my mom for going to Hofstra all the time. It doesn't matter that she went post-doc at Columbia; Hofstra will taint her legacy till the end of time. She takes it in good humor though. I'm a jackass at times.

I have the same problem!!!

Samford or Stanford? I so cannot decide.

Samford, clearly. The Baptists are known for their quality education.

Hofstra...a new german beer?

I need help deciding on Cornell College (in Iowa) vs. Cornell University.

Last year, the valedictorian of the class of '06 chose the University of Delaware over Harvard. He got a large (most likely full) scholarship to UDel, so he chose the best offer rather than the best school.

Hofstra over Harvard? You never know ;).
