I think it's best if you give penn a personal call and ask the question via phone, however, my guess would be that penn admission wouldn't specifically penalize you since you were restricted by all means to take the calculus course. But ask. its the best way to find out.</p>
<p>in that case, I'm sure penn will understand. doesn't the phrase "the equivalent of one semester of college calculus upon matriculation" mean that you have to have the calculus credit before you enroll, or the end of your senior year? and I guess one thing you can do is make the councellor attach a sidenote informing how calc is offered to only seniors. but the fact that you're taking precalc right now tells me that you wouldn't be eligible to take calculus even if was offered to juniors.</p>
