HELP! I decided this morning to apply as a transfer!

<p>I know this is probably crazy, but I've decided today to apply as a transfer to Davis, Berkeley, and UCLA as a Political Science major.</p>

<p>I'm a sophomore at Wellesley College. My GPA:
Fall 08: 3.33
Spring 09: 3.55
Overall: 3.44 (should stay around there)</p>

<p>I know that's low in comparison, but Wellesley has major grade deflation, so it's a pretty good GPA.</p>

<p>QUESTION 1: Will the UC's know anything about Wellesley? Should I mention somewhere about the deflation?</p>

<p>QUESTION 2: I got pretty good SAT scores (2310), but I know you don't submit these. Should I include them in the "extra info" section at the end of the essays, or would that be stupid?</p>

<p>QUESTION 3: Do I even have a chance at getting in?</p>

<p>PLEASE HELP ME! Even if you can only answer one question or half a question.</p>

<p>Don’t you need LOR’s? Isn’t today the deadline?there is a chart on the internet with numbers of accepted students from privates. The numbers are low, and don’t list by name of private schools, but it HAS happened. I’ll try to find it.</p>

<p>Average UC GPA for transfers is higher than what you have, and the deadline is TODAY.</p>

<p>I recommend you put your excellent SAT score somewhere on the application.
Hurry and get it in!</p>

<p>why you would want to go to the uc’s over wellesly(unless its a financial matter) is beyond me. Frankly you should be looking, and hopefully you are looking at, Pomona College(if you want to transfer to a school in Cali), Claremont, etc</p>
