So on the Common App transfer application, there’s a College Coursework section. After inputting the classes and stuff, it says to “Finalize Transcripts”. I wasn’t sure what it was supposed to be like so I went ahead and did it expecting a “Are you sure you want to submit this?” kinda warning. The thing is, on the AP credit part, asking if I received any credits for AP exams, I said yes because I mean I got credit for my ap exams (16 credits) that appear on my transcript BUT I was supposed to choose which classes from the inputted classes that I got AP credit for. What? None of those classes that I put in the college coursework section had the AP classes because, well, why would any of those classes be from AP credits if I took them in college? I had nothing to choose from the classes, so I went back and clicked the “No, I did not receive any AP credits” option. I kept going, still expecting the “U sure ur ready to submit?” warning and then eventually got to a point where it said “Ok you’re done now, just wait for it to be reviewed”. I didn’t get any warning or anything and now I’m panicking. What do I do? Do I just wait it out? Email someone? Did I do the right thing? Am I screwed over? Please help lol
First of all, breath.
Are you OK?
Now, you should only have completed the “education” section, NOT the entire application. So you should be able to go back and add or change things.
As for how to add your college courses, look it up on appsupport.commonapp.org
Er, I actually completed every section except the “Program Materials” section if that changes anything. Should I add the AP credit equivalent classes to my Fall semester section or something? I have no idea how I’m supposed to add my AP credits to the College Coursework section lol
