<p>I think I have low SATII scores for my reach/target schools :[. Here are my stats:</p>

<p>Schools
Reach: Stanford, Harvard, UPenn, Cornell, Princeton, Brown
Target: Cal, UCLA(Dream), UCSD
Safety: UCI, UCD, UCSB, USC, USF</p>

<p>General
Major: Undecided;
Considering Business or Medicine or Law or Some Kind of Art/Music
Ethnicity: Asian-Chinese/Taiwanese
Current grade: Upcoming Senior
Rank: Was Rank 1 out of 1000+ before getting two B+'s from the same teacher in APUSH and Honors APS... Probably rank 20-30 now.
GPA: Was 4.53/4.0 ; Probably 4.25/3.90 now
Took all hardest classes offered at school.
Senior year: APBio, APStat, APWorld Lit, APEcon, Jazz Choir, Advanced Choir.</p>

SAT Reasoning: 2130 (Gonna retake in October. Expecting about 2200.)
Math: 750
Writing: 690 (11 essay, but I missed a CRAPLOAD of MC's)
CR: 690

SAT II's: UGH. NOTHING HIGHER THAN 750..
Chemistry: 740 80%
Physics: 720 :[ 70%
MathII: 750 Probably 80% if i'm lucky.

AP Calculus: 4 or 5 (just took)
AP Physics: 4 or 5 (just took)
*I didn't take the APUSH test even though I took the class. Not sure how this will impact me. I wasn't ready for itt at all.. haha</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars:
Symphonic Band -Frosh year (band is a big deal at our school)
Advanced Concert Choir - Soph,Junior,Senior
-Bass Section Leader as a Senior
*Won 1st place gold Soph and Junior year at Heritage festivals (Nationwide?)
Chamber Choir - Junior, Senior
-Maybe Bass Section Leader as a Senior
*Won 1st place gold Junior Year
Jazz Singers - Senior
Four Year Leo Club Member - Officer Position
Tutored Elementary School children - Frosh
Kaiser Permanente Volunteer (Hospital) Junior/Senior
*Required application/screening/interview/orientations etc.
-4 hour shifts, probably going to accumulate 100+ hours from this.
Four Year CSF member
Summer School of Truth -6 years
*(6 year commitment of 3 weeks of my summer mornings for church)
Bible Camp Leader - Soph/Junior/Senior (Church)
I know how to play the oboe, piano, saxophone, and all sorts of percussion. However, my PRIME focus is the acoustic guitar. Self-taught, 4 years, I play at concerts at school.
Oh, and I'm gonna get a job this summer...</p>

<p>I wouldn't say they would KILL your chances lol. They could be somewhat detrimental.
But a 750 on Math II and being asian are not mutually compatible :(. I think college now days expect a 800 Math IIs from all Asian kids. Might think about retaking this in November or December.</p>

<p>Your SAT 2's are not in any way harmful to your application. I wouldn't retake any of them. Instead focus your time on bringing your SATs up which are average for your reach schools.</p>

<p>Yeah definitely focus on bringing up your sat score as your main priority, but i would also recommend retaking the sat II’s. You have a small chance at the ivies just like every other kid but the other schools seem reachable. Work on the ec’s too… But they are still solid. Just show a lot of leadership. </p>

<p>Just proof that people don’t even really read the posts before begging to be chanced back. Because this thread is 3 years old and 2 people chanced the kid anyway today.</p>
