Good chance. You are not wasting the application fee. Wash.U. is a tough admit for pre-meds.

You need safties and alternate elite schools. Getting into a school of Wash.U.'s caliber is iffy for almost everyone. Look at Vanderbilt, Rice, Emory, Chicago and Penn.

If you have the money and love Wash.U. above all other schools, go early decision.

Avoid inappropriate and insensitive hyperbole during interviews and in essays.

I lol’d… Or maybe just smiled wryly. Either way it got my attention I guess
Kinda have to wonder if this is how Ad Com’s feel about getting shoes in the mail…

I’d say your chances are pretty fair though. It’s hard to be sure without SAT I’s and a GPA on a 4-point scale, but your ECs do look strong. Best of luck!

so onto your evaluation:
You have a good chance, it just depends on how you present yourself and how interested you are in getting in. Make sure to communicate with them, ask questions, get an interview during your visit there.

Btw I was accepted into Washu for class of 2014. :)

you’re changes are veryy good!! I was accepted ED class of 2014. you’re scores a a little bit above mine, and although i have a lot more extracurriculars it helps that you are a minority. you have also taken a few more APs than me. however, my school is highly competitive and most colleges know of it, so who knows haha
good luckk!!!

Thanks for all of the replies guys! And it’s ok, if I saw someone with this post title I would call them pathetic too… lol just trying to get your attention.
