A. Take honors Algebra 2 in the summer at a local college and honors pre-calculus freshman year
or
B. Take honors Algebra 2 freshman year
Can you give more information? Ex. Do you like math, what classes will both tracks enable you to take throughout high school, etc.
I believe you need a strong foundation in algebra 2 and I don’t think you can get that foundation crammed into a summer program.

I say no because lots of kids at my school have not taken Algebra 2 and gone onto excellent schools, but for you B is the better option. Don’t overwhelm yourself freshman year, I did it, and it really hurt my grades.
