Hello, I have always dreamed of applying to University of Michigan, and from lack of my research, i did not know that Michigan has a rolling system. WHen i checked, it says the deadline is Feburary 1st. Is it too late to apply now, because I know I am not the strongest candidate, what can i do now to bring my chances and also how much is it going to hurt my chance for not applying early
Thank you so much for your help

hanjh, you have always dreamed of applying to Michigan and yet you did not check the fineprint until the end of January? You should handle your dreams with greater diligence and care in the future! ;)

At any rate, you will be relieved to know that there is not Early Action plan for transfer applicants. Transfers may only apply Regular Decision. As such, as long as you submit your application, recommendations, transcripts and standardized test scores in the next couple of days, you will not be at a disadvantage.

All the best, and remember, next time, plan far ahead!

OH thank you so much alexandre That made me feel so much better thank you!

Yea bro, don’t worry about it. I’m also currently applying for a transfer and I still haven’t submitted my application. Good luck man!

So all of the supplemental forms (e.g. mid-term reports, official transcripts, etc.) had to be in by February 1st? I don’t think there was an indication of that…

If so, I’m screwed. :(

Good luck to everybody who applied. I applied mid january and hopefully my hard work from first semester of college paid off. If not, hey there’s plenty of time. No need to stress about it too much guys. There’s always winter 2012 :)
