Help! LAC Search!

things I’m looking for (with an open mind)
•Strong academics with good opportunities for English and the humanities
•Either a liberal arts college or university with a good LA program/school
•community and school spirit! (Doesn’t need to be an insane amount of spirit but def a good student community
•medium size student body
•ideally fairly diverse
•ideally east coast
(or Midwest)
Interested in:
•opportunities for theater at school
•study abroad and club opportunities
•some party scene and sports
•50-20% acceptance rates mostly

Again, I appreciate all suggestions! They by no means need to fulfil all the criteria, they are just guidelines
(I’m a junior btw, doing the High School Diploma in Germany)

Boston College.

Union College, Schenectady, NY.
Oops. Just saw this was in the Massachusetts sub forum. Sorry!

In Massachusetts, check out Stonehill College.

Holy Cross if Catholic is okay.

Skidmore College (Saratoga Springs, NY)
Union College (Schenectady, NY)
Hobart and William Smith College (Geneva, NY)
You will get more responses if you take this out of the Massachusetts forum.

BC and Holy Cross.

Colgate

Colgate doesn’t exactly fit the “diverse” criterion.

Don’t let American cultural warriors deter you from investigating a great school like Colgate.

Denison.

Have you seen the latest homepage of colgate.edu? It shows many of the blue stone buildings on the Hill and represents why many find Colgate one of the most beautiful campuses in the US.

I understand the website will receive an overhaul in a few weeks. What’s there already and what will be delivered give great insights into what Colgate delivers to applicants, its students and staff, and alumni.

Go 'gate!

In addition to BC and Holy Cross, would agree with Colgate too if you’re willing to look outside of MA, and if that’s the case then Trinity & Bucknell too. Similar campus cultures at all those schools.

@AriBenSion The OP asked for diverse schools.

Not sure they will have the diversity you seek but look at Lafayette College.

Dickinson

HC and BC doe not fall within “diverse” criteria either.

@ellewoods look at Muhlenburg in PA and James Madison in VA.
