I’m looking for a 48 or so inch wide TV stand (closer to 48 is better), 13 or so inches deep (closer to 13 better). Height is more flexible - thinking roughly 20-24 inches tall.
It needs to be black, and very minimalist, not a “big black blob.” I want it to just disappear under TV, not be noticeable. Our TV has to sit at an angle between our painted white brick fireplace wall and the front side of the room wall.
I don’t want to spend a lot - no more than say 500, but less expensive would be great.
We shopped a long time for ours and ended up with something like the “NOT this” link. For us it has worked well to have doors and drawers, less needing to dust things. But we did not have the 13” constraint.
overstock has the one, or one very similar, to what thumper1 found, for cheaper.
Does anyone see any significant differences?
I once found some desks my son and his GF wanted from Macy’s at Walmart, for less than half the price. In that case I even called the manufacturer to make sure they were the same.
I would also say that when you find one you like check the brand/type on Amazon - I have bought a few small pieces of furniture or rugs that I found on other websites (like Wayfair or All Modern) on Amazon for less. Maybe not - but maybe!!
Darn - Turns out the one at Overstock is a little less wide than the other.
AND, it turns out the the one at Raymour is only 12 inches at the ends, which is slightly to small for our TV, even though it’s 16 in the middle.
So close, but need to keep looking…
