Hey guys, I got into Boston College, Colgate, Lehigh (Eckardt), UVA, and Cornell. I’ve already eliminated Boston College and Colgate from potential choices as I really want to go into chemical engineering, which neither of these are able to offer. So really, the decision is between UVA’s Engineering, Cornell’s Engineering, and Lehigh as an Eckardt Scholar. The Eckardt Scholars Program is an Honors program in Lehigh’s College of Arts and Sciences, which allows me to declare a major and only take the required courses within that major. Furthermore, I would need to keep a 3.45+ GPA, and would have a large degree of academic freedom with options to take exclusive seminars and class out of my major. I really want to go to Cornell as it’s been my dream school forever, and UVA has been a very close second as they’re the two colleges my parents went to. If you have any feedback or opinions on what I should do, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
What do you want in a school? How are your FA packages?
If you say Cornell is your dream school and UVA your second choice, it kinda sounds like you’ve already made up your mind. Why not go to Cornell? If money isn’t an issue, you should go to the school of your dreams man
