Can you or have you visited the schools? Those are three very different towns…so it kind of depends on what you’re looking for. Tourism is huge in Charleston so that might make it a fit. For the most part the weather is much warmer than other two places…although DC can get pretty warm, if you see snow once in 4 years of college in Charleston it would be amazing. Very active Greek life.

Post in individual school threads to get more specific advice from students of the school.

ED (whether in round 1 or round 2) is binding.

Most students who ask for release from an ED agreement after acceptance do so because the family has determined that the institution is unaffordable. If you did not apply for any aid, it would be challenging to make that assertion - although a reversal of fortune could always be blamed.

If you aren’t certain about GW, send them a quick email and ask to be moved from the ED2 group to the regular admissions group.

Then wait to worry about the other two when/if you are rejected by GW. If those two are your only remaining options it shouldn’t be hard at all to decide.

HMNNN… good point… I am still hearing back from others as well… But these are the three i am keeping a close eye on… I honestly know I’d be happy at all three…

If you were in my situation, which one would provide the “overall” best college experience, excluding prestige?

First off, since you applied ED to GW, it isn’t part of the mix any more. If you get in and the money works, you go.

As for the other two, I suppose it is reasonable to start thinking aboutthe best way to decide between back up A and back up B. Sit down, write down what you know sofar about these places. Read through the websites again. And plan to visit one or both if GW says No.
