I like both. They have different but strong programs. Similar sizes. I want to go to med school after undergrad. Which school is best? Rhodes is offering great scholarship. W& L is full price. Is it worth the money?

Nope. Go with Rhodes and get a high GPA; med schools care much more about how and what you did than where you did it. You’re going to need your savings for med school.

Rhodes is excellent for premeds so I’d pick it over W&L if they were of similar costs. If it’s cheaper, it’s a no-brainer. Additionally, jkeil is right, med schools won’t care where you went to school, only that you have a high GPA, high MCAT, internships/experiences, and good letters of recommendation.

Thank you for your help. I think Rhodes is probably the best choice too. They seem to have many more opportunities for undergrad research and a lot more science major choices.ex. neuroscience
