Rhodes vs OSU

<p>Hey everybody,</p>

<p>Im confused…Really like both schools but I cant decide between them. Whats your opinions about each schools? And why would you pick ___ over the other?
Really need help… I have been asking about the schools in thier respective forums.</p>

<p>Here are some of my opinions about the situatition:
Really like both since they gave me some scholarships :P</p>

<p>1.OSU is more football and school-spirited school with a great city i.e. Columbus. Osu offered me the Honors Program, but I might get distracted by the sports and the community. Oh yeah, OSU seems a little more lively and funnier than Rhodes. I really like the atmosphere of Ohio with all the concerts and people.</p>

<li>Rhodes has a smaller pop and great teachers, so there is a better learning environment. Also, It is close to my house and it looks really nice. Oh yeah, I want to go into med, and I think rhodes has the right atmosphere for studying and staying focus. The bad thing is Rhodes is a liberal arts school which offers fewer majors than OSU. Additionally, Rhodes stated that it has 95% accpetance rate for med school if the student displays a 3.3 GPa and 26 on the MCAt. It has a kool city–Memphis–but there are a lot of gang activities. </li>

<p>Your thoughts on my situatition and what you think I should go? A lot of my friends say that I should go to OSU… but that doesnt really matter</p>

<p>I was interested in Rhodes for a while, it's a great school. Ohio State is a state school, along with everything that comes with it...you have the great facilities and the lectures along with 350 other freshmen...it depends on what you want, really.</p>

<p>I recommend Rhodes.</p>

<p>Rhodes will offer you a wealth of opportunities and be "bigger" than it seems. You can do the "big" school for grad/med school. Look up Curmudgeon's posts on his daughter's experience for a good look into the school.</p>

<p>I had a really good interview with someone from Rhodes admissions who had gone to school there after turning down Harvard.</p>

<p>Stillwater isn't a bad place to go to school. Good business, geology, communications. It somewhat depends on what you plan on majoring in.</p>

<p>I think the OP is talking about Ohio State U. in Columbus, not OK State in Stillwater.
Either way, I'd choose Rhodes.

<p>But seriously, you seem like Rhodes would be the better choice for you. I would personally pick OSU though since I BLEED scarlet and gray!!!</p>
