Hi guys! I am currently a rising senior, and since I do not know if I can tour colleges anytime soon, I need some help. I am extremely overwhelmed and am hoping that somebody can give me some ideas as to what I am looking for as well as schools that I may be able to get in at. Here is what I am looking for in a school and my stats:
- I am from NJ, and want to go to school in either New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Delaware. -I am looking for a medium-small sized school -I go to a competitive public school with a great reputation -My possible majors are either business, finance, economics, or marketing
-My GPA is 3.7 UW
-3 AP classes
-5 honors classes including Honors College English
-Will be taking Spanish all 4 years, taking Spanish 5 next year
-I am in NHS
-Art NHS sophomore year
-Many clubs over the years
-Hope to be president of the psychology club next year
-I work a part time job year round, have been working since I turned 16
-I volunteer frequently at my church and have been a VBS counselor for the past three years
I was lucky to take the SAT in March however I did horribly and got an 1140 and got a 15/24 on essay. This is nowhere near my goal, and because of the corona virus, I may not be able to take it again. This may be in my favor since some schools are now test optional.
The schools that I have toured in person so far have been Lehigh and Villanova, both of these schools are reaches. I really liked Villanova, so if you can think of a school that is similar/ that I have a chance of getting into, please let me know.
Thanks so much for reading!
