UCLA is a better school. Its more respected around the world and consistantly ranks higher. Thats all you need to know.

it is said the best jobs are never posted they are gotten through word of mouth. USC has the best college networking system meaning that as a business graduate chances are that you will land one of the better jobs available. Also USC has one of the best financial aid systems around.

Also god luck going to UCLA now that the SIR deadline has passed, unless you submitted it already…then touche.

lets not forget its not what you know its who you know that will help you in the corporate world.

While this may be true, a UCLA degree will open more doors around the world than a USC degree.

Oh and cubman, the last line of the post was that they already submitted their SIR.

Woops, my bad. I thought I had him

You thought you had him? What does that even mean?

Tricked him???

UCLA definitely is a better university. I think USC is overrated. I have a handful of friends who got in solely based on their wealth and legacy. No way a 3.3 out of high school should get you in.

USC is also far more expensive. Not sure how good their financial aid is as previously posted, but I can’t imagine it is anything close to the deal UCLA is.

I don’t think the networking argument holds water with USC. If it was between USC and UCR or a CSU, I would say yes. Between USC and UCLA, there are plenty of people on both sides who would gladly hire you (if their only care is where your degree came from).
