I need opinion/advice from some of you guys here to help me make my decision. I have been admitted to UCLA, UCI, UCSB, and UCD for business econ. Which one of those campuses you guys think is the best? give me some advices!! thanks!

UCLA. No brainer

^haha. that is exactly what all my friends told me.

why did you bother to ask? haha… ucla

seriously…UCLA is a better school than any of those…the real decision is UCLA v Cal

UCLA is no question the best among these UC’s…

By the way, what campus would you guys rank second?

^ second from his options? and rank in what? academics? atmosphere?

^^true story, US World and News predicts that it will be the #1 public ranked school in 15-20 years

SD has campus #2

looks like UCLA it is. anyone else transferring there this fall?

I mean second from UCI, UCSB, UCSD business econ program…

Didn’t you apply to Cal? Anyway, yeah, UCLA is the obvious choice. Btw, what were your stats? Did you do TAP?

Wait, so… You’re asking strangers on an internet forum to help you decide which college YOU want to go to? Does not compute.

There’s still plenty of time to fill out the SIRs, so go visit the campuses, ask around, experience each one for yourself somehow. UCLA IS the best from an objective standpoint, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best fit for you. Each campus has its own individual flavor. If you can, it’d probably be better to get a taste of each one before you decide. It certainly sounds like a more valid way to make a decision rather than listening to your friend on teh intarwebz.

+1 to Kemikaruu
Why would you want us to decide for you? Do you want us to decide what you want to major too? :)

UCLA, duh!!! :|

UCLA >> all other UC’s

Haas > UCLA bizecon > rest of UCs.

If you applied to Haas, wait it out. If you didn’t, choose UCLA.

Keep in mind that most of the people on this forum either blindly recommend colleges based on their rankings or are high school kids who don’t really have a good perspective on colleges. Visit the campuses, research the programs they offer, and make a decision based on that.

Blind recommendation? I’d like to see your argument saying that Haas is not better than, say, UCI bizecon.

Graduating from Haas will give you the best career prospects. It is a top business school. Berkeley is a great city. There are many opportunities in the bay area.

UCLA biz econ also has good placement, although not as good as Berkeley’s. The UCLA campus is arguably the nicest UC campus there is. And I don’t have to tell you the type of experience you can chase in Los Angeles.

I wasn’t singling out your post. I was just telling the OP to do some of his own research rather than rely on the “UCLA, duh!” comments abound on this forum from high school kids. Your post above has a lot more substance than that and actually objectively helps the original poster.

thanks for all the responses. I will take some time to look into each one of these campuses.
