<p>Do not worry about the "low"ness of PSAT scores. They DO NOT predict SAT scores well AT ALL. Usually SATs are higher. And neither predicts success at life, or at college admissions for that matter.</p>
<p>Leave your child alone. Seriously, if you put this much focus on the psat, man, I feel bad for the kid. Too much pressure is not a good thing! Give him some space and calm down. PSAT's aren't that important anyway. If he happens to be rejected from his top college next year, do not be ****ed like you are now. AHHH</p>
<p>We don't even have PSAT up in chilly Canada, and we've only started the process this year of looking into Colleges in the States...relax, love your child, they will be gone all too soon...and if that fails...well when my DD only got 99% gpa this semester I said "oooh you one percent failure girl"...we both had a good laugh together ;)</p>
<p>Haven't read the thread but other than NMF why freak out? Consider the ACT as an option.</p>
