Help me out with FSU?

Can I get in to FSU? :/

Upcoming senior.

I live in DeLand, Florida, and I'm kind of worried that I won't get in to FSU :/ I'm looking to major in either criminology, communications, Voice, or music production.

3.2 weighted gpa, 2.7 unweighted. However, that's from my high school. I couldn't figure out how to recalculate properly to FSU's standards.

I'm an IB Student, 2 honors courses, 2 regular courses, otherwise all Pre-IB in 9th/10th grade, IB in 11th/coming up 12th grade.

As you can tell from the gpa, mostly B's but 2-3 a's and c's since High School began.

I'm Review editor of the school newspaper, 3700 kids attend my school.

Also am involved in Spanish National Honor Society (took 4 years and hopefully a 5th to get my bilingual degree)

Also have many community service hours involving performing for benefits and such.

1830 on SAT (500 math, 640 writing, 690 reading)

My GPA is worrying me. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Looking to apply early decision next month.

If Florida State is your dream, have [Tallahassee Community College](<a href=“404 - Tallahassee Community College”>http://www.tcc.fl.edu/) as a backup. A 2.5 to 2.99 (out of 4.0) GPA enrolls at FSU about 2% of the time.

Don’t IB classes add bonus points to their recalculated GPA though? :/

Yes. FSU favorably weighs IB, Honors and AP classes.

See: [FSU Admissions | Requirements | U.S. Freshman](http://www.fsu.edu/students/prospective/admissions/requirements/froshreq.html)

Yeahh, I read that :/

So is it a possibility that my GPA will be a lot better after getting recalculated? I’d recieve a full bonus point for 10 classes this coming year and last, and then 5.5 for 9th and 10th.
