Help me pick a school

out of these schools which one would you pick:

Ithaca

Drake

UVM

UNH

Marist

Quinnipiac

Hofstra

Roger Williams

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'd pick Ithaca, but then again, it's the only one on your list that I applied to :)

I would pick Ithaca. I think it is the best academically, and will take you farther than many of the others.

quinnipiac. downtown new haven is a lot better than downtown ithaca.

It is a very individual decision...ie: Can you take the cold weather (I assume you can judging by the list of schools), does one school have a program/activity that really interests you, are more classes that interest you offered by one school, have you seen the dorms, eaten the food, are they likely to put you into a triple room that was meant to be a double etc.? Does money play any role in your decison? Is the 4 year graduation rate important to you? Crime rate important? Ease of parking, public transit? My son was accepted to 4 of the schools on your list last year, and out of those 4, for his own individualized reasons found Ithaca to be the best fit out of those schools. Each school has its own rules, personality etc. For example, at Marist you need to earn points for better housing or even to stay on campus in upper class years. Quinnipiac I believe has large rooms with quite a few students housed/room, and Roger Williams I believe gives better housing to those with higher gpas. I think that these factors should be looked into before choosing. If money plays a role, that may be a big deciding factor too. Good luck. You have some nice options on the table.

UNH and UVM are way ahead of the others.

Uhh - information is on the websites - do you like city, what programs interest you, where do you want to be in the country, is travel an issue, weather, etc. We're really not here to choose for you. Although, if you want superficial judgements based on our own personal prejudices, go for it.
